Wow one year since I founded Beyond Fitness! 2022 was a challenging transition year and there were times I will admit I wanted to throw in the towel. I’m very happy I didn’t! So much has changed for the better, I am so happy to have stuck it out. I have grown and so has the business. I look forward to coming to work with my amazing team and wonderful clients every day. I am beyond grateful for those who stuck with and supported me. I keep a note on my phone with positive affirmations that friends have said to me. Thank you for the words of encouragement, the hugs, the commitment to training at Beyond, the laughs, the flexibility in scheduling, the referrals, the trust and all the love! I feel very lucky to be surrounded by so many exceptional people!
Beyond Fitness - I chose this name because there is more to being healthy and well than just being strong and physically fit. There is strength, resilience (physical & emotional), flexibility (physical & emotional), endurance, nutrition, recovery, spirituality, community connection, self expression…At Beyond we want to provide you with great workouts to achieve your fitness goals but we also want to make sure you are nurtured in all the ways that impact your wellbeing. We have aimed to expand our offerings to guide you to additional resources beyond our fitness training. Our collaboration with Dr. Katie Takayasu, MD has taken our services well beyond strength training. It’s been amazing to see so many positive transformations with her expert healing that includes nutrition and compassionate holistic wellness coaching. Additionally Dr. Jay LaBarbera DPT has been an amazing resource in helping those with injuries, chronic pain and various physical setbacks. So whether you have an achy back or feeling bloated or needing to lose 10lbs or maybe just wanting to find a good book to read and some new recipes we’re here to help. And if there are ways we can go beyond to help you please know that we are here for you.
